Description
The (consensual) Master/slave flag was designed by Master Tallen with the assistance of his slave at the time, Andrew. Lifestyle Sewing (girl nancy) produced the first flag and its unveiling took place on July 29, 2005 at the Master/slave Conference in Washington, D.C. Since then, it has widely been adopted by the M/s kink community.
This symbol is offered as a representation of the consensual Dominant & submissive or Master & slave Lifestyle. The vertical stripe is a universal symbol meaning power or dominance. The set of three horizontal stripes is a universal symbol meaning passive or submissive. The flag is a basic black with a white border. The Dom/sub symbols are in red and in the center. The intent was to create a symbol that represents the foundation of the consensual Master/slave dynamic which is Dominance and submissiveness.

Note: This is about consenting adults living out the roles of their desires/choosing. It is NOT about human trafficking, which is NON-consensual, immoral & illegal.
