Notice: As of 4/3/2022, all delivery carriers have increased rates based on package sizes. For packages over 22″ in length, there is an additional $4 surcharge. For packages over 30″ in length, there is an additional $15 surcharge. Therefore, if you order a cane between 20″ & 28″, a $4 fee will be incurred, while a 30″ or longer cane, a $15 fee will be incurred. We apologize for this inconvenience, but we have no control over the delivery companies.
We ship everything discreetly...
Please note that shipping labels are generated entirely by what you type into the Shipping Address, unless you check that it is the ‘same as billing’; then, of course, it would go to the billing address. Since we do not enter the addresses ourselves, but rather, you – the customer – have the responsibility of providing the correct address & contact information, we cannot be responsible, should you provide the wrong information. In some cases, customers who have ordered in the past & created an account with an address and have since then moved. In this instance, your account information will remain as you entered it upon creating your account until you update your information. Please make sure to check your information for accuracy before finalizing your order.
However, should the package be returned to us, we will happily either refund your money or send the package to the correct address. Should you wish us to re-send it to you, please note that you would be responsible for paying to have it shipped to the correct address.
As stated elsewhere on this site, we try our best to ship all items in 1-3 business days. However, occasionally an item will have to be made, custom designed, engraved, etc. and as a result, it may take a bit longer. We are a small business and we travel to weekend events and shows across the country. Sometimes, we may be out of town at a show when you place your order. When that happens, there’s an info bar at the top of the site with that information there. If you click the “X” to get rid of it, it won’t come back unless you’ve cleared your history, etc. In these circumstances, your order will be processed as soon as we return to the office, unless… If we have the product with us and are able to mail it from wherever we are, we happily will. We do not like to keep our customers waiting any more than absolutely necessary.
If you have a question as to our estimated shipping timeline (in the case of a last minute birthday or anniversary gift that you must have right away), write to us at [email protected]. We’ll be glad to help you however we can, but please be aware that we live in an area of the U.S. where Overnight Express shipping never happens. Sorry about that… but the USPS just doesn’t have that availability. In fact, neither does FedEx or UPS. We can’t even get food over-nighted ‘to’ us. Therefore, we only offer Priority Mail Service. We apologize for the inconvenience. It sucks for us too and it’s out of our control. 🙁
If it takes more than 2 weeks to ship a ‘standard (not customized) product’ due to lapse in stock, we will ship your order free and include a small token gift with your package as our thank you for your understanding. We pride ourselves on prompt service, however, since we are in a very small town, shipping companies often takes 1-3 days longer to get our incoming supplies delivered to us. Sadly, that may increase the wait time for us to be able to make & ship your order by those delayed days. We have no control over the speed of delivery services for supplies, but that’s only an issue if an item you ordered requires a part that is out of stock and has to be ordered. We try to be on top of things, but… well… we ain’t perfect. Shhh… Don’t tell KJ that i (His girl) said that.
Once your item is ready for shipment, we ship via USPS Priority Mail. Express Mail is an option at a higher rate (obviously), but it usually doesn’t get there any sooner, so… Why would you want to spend the extra money for nothing? Your shipping rates will be calculated at checkout based on the weight of the items in your cart. Please note that this is an estimate based on the United States Postal Service’s rate calculation software module.
~~~ Porch pirates are everywhere nowadays, so please watch out for your packages. Once your package has been delivered and there is an electronic record offering proof of delivery, the matter is out of our hands. As we ourselves have experienced (much to our chagrins) package theft, even with Ring Cameras, it really sucks to lose like that. Unfortunately, the only recourse any of us have for retrieving stolen packages is notifying your local Postmaster AND calling the police & filing a report. ~~~
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: Due to changes in how the USPS does international shipments, we are no longer able to offer First Class International Shipping. We apologize for the inconvenience, but… first class international requires a trip to the Post Office, filling out customs forms & purchasing postage in person, whereas it used to be able to be done electronically & given to the postal service with our daily mail pickup. This is cumbersome, but that’s not the worst part of it. First class is no longer insurable and it’s impossible to track. So…. we only offer Priority International Shipping until they fix whatever issue they’re having with online international first class shipping & once again allow insurance for First Class.
It is rare that the shipping cost is more than the estimate, but it ‘could’ happen. Therefore, we may have to apply additional fees to your total. If this happens, we will write to you first to inform you of the difference prior to shipping your order.
UPS and FedEx shipping is available, but… if you require this shipping method, there will be additional fees for the price difference plus round trip travel to drop off the package(s) in the next town over, since we don’t have accent points in our small town.
Final notes on shipping related to our low-temp sensual candles:
The cart may over-estimate shipping costs for candles due to their weight. However, when possible due to excessive weight of multiple candles & the highly estimated shipping price based on that weight, we may be able to fit them in a flat rate box. When that happens and it’s cost-effective, we’ll refund money we’re able to save on shipping.
There is a chance of some melting taking place, especially in the hot summer months because well… they are ‘Low-Temp’. Also, although we package our candles well, there may be small dings/pings in the candles (again, they are low temp and are made of soft wax).
That being said, history shows that they still arrive in usable condition, even if there may be some small potential for disfigurements. We shipped 12 large candles to Arizona in July (while I waited to hear from them and chewed my nails nervously). They made it safely, with little or no noticeable blemishes or melting, and the happy customer has been a repeat customer many times since.
If you have additional shipping questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
