January started the year off strong with a trip to Phoenix for the Southwest Leather Conference. It was a great event and I had always wanted to visit Phoenix because of stories my Papaw told me when I was little about his travels out west. And… I finally got to see those cacti from the old Bugs Bunny Cartoons, etc. I took a pic to post.
It was our first time vending at SWLC and we had a wonderful time. The people there were lovely and welcoming and the play parties were super fun. One of the best things about the vending hall was the fact that the vendor coordinator set aside a space for people to test whips and other flying toys. That made life so much better for the rest of the vendors in so much as our spaces and the walkways weren’t blocked to other potential customers who are often afraid to traverse the aisles in fear of getting smacked non-consensually. Thank you, Kiki. 🙂
